We also have a little chat about concerts and pick our next book club theme.

This week on PodQuest Chris talks about Spy x Family Code: White the new movie, Walnut played the next chapter of Poppy Playtime, and Chris has been dabbling in the 3D platformer Penny’s Big Breakaway. We also hear about Droo’s time seeing Sweeney Todd on Broadway, Walnut played some Fortnite, and Chris had some very early impressions on Stellar Blade.

This week on PodQuest, Chris went to Japan and got to check out Super Nintendo World in Universal Studios Japan, Walnut played a ton of games including Pacific Drive, and we have a debate on the values of review scores and how they should world. Plus our book club discussion on Dr Strangelove, Sea of Thieves, and some final thoughts on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth from Walnut.

While Chris is off galavanting the globe, we’ve got a special episode for you all! A couple weeks ago Walnut GM’ed a play test of Critical Roles new Daggerheart TTRPG system for Droo and Chris. After we ran through the premade “starter” we sat down to chat about our likes and dislikes and general thoughts on the experience. This week on PodQuest we talk about our latest book club movie, the 1984 Hayao Miyazaki film Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, then Chris talks a bit about the deck building rogue like poker game Balatro, and Walnuts been spending some time with survival horror game Poppy Playtime.
