So if I told you I played a game where I got to create a character, rolled dice that corresponded to a chart, and that the outcome of my dice roll lead me closer to my goal you might think I’m referring to some sort of D&D style game. However, what I’m referring to is what we call the PFL, which is a spin-off of the 60s-70s Sports Illustrated Pro Football game also known as Paydirt Football.

Black Friday, and its ever growing stretch into Thanksgiving, is rapidly approaching. This of course means its time for AWESOME SALES! And thanks to the internet we can find out what is going to be on sale ahead of time thanks to spying eyes getting scans of the ads posted online. For the past 9 years gamers around the world have come together to raise outstanding amounts of games, toys, money and other things to help make a sick child’s holiday season a little brighter.

Tesla was the greatest geek ever, and pretty much invented all the best stuff in the history of ever, like modern electricity and the light bulb. “But I thought Edison did alot of that” I can hear you saying. No, you would be wrong. Edison was an asshole. And this is coming from someone who went to T.A Edison elementary school.

Pretty much everyone remembers Mister Rogers, he helped generations of children grow up and learn without ever actually meeting them. This Febuary he’ll have been dead for 10 years.

Today is Geek Pride Day (also Towel Day). So be sure to let your geek flag (preferably one made of a towel) fly high today. Give everyone the Vulcan Salute, talk in the Batman voice all day, discuss who shot first, wear your best Avengers shirt, and just all around do whatever you like to show off you’re a geek and aren’t afraid to show it.

We’re back up and ready for viewing. That doesn’t change the fact that SOPA and PIPA are a load of crap! I’m sure anyone reading this already has but if you haven’t make sure you get your asses over to Google and sign the petition and then go over to Wikipedia and send a few messages to your local government officials.

If you aren’t familiar with this you should spend some time and learn about it. You could be breaking the law if this thing passes!
